The Obsession with Tribalism
Monday Nov 04, 2024
Monday Nov 04, 2024
There's no better time than Election Day in the United States to discuss a problem which has infected modern day society: TRIBALISM. From politics to periodicals, religion to retail, and sports teams to sports cars, what were once both casual & significant parts of our lives that involved personal fandom and association have devolved into consistent "you vs us" fights with no way of truly "winning". Actions that showed your personal time invested into trying to convert others' mindset to yours were once an indication of poor judgement and use of resources, yet today's society has normalized yesterday's ridiculousness. We get into a very deep discussion on this issue. Leave a review, subscribe, and let's all leave Election Day (week) with the ability of not advertising our personal choices which accommodate our beliefs.

Endorsements, an Extended View, & Eating with a Plan
Monday Oct 21, 2024
Monday Oct 21, 2024
Products, politics, or podcasts...endorsements made by "celebrities" and influencers are plentiful in our day-to-day exposure of what we like and how we like things. Do these truly mean anything anymore, and if so, what criteria determines why a person unrelated to your personal life has their opinion / recommendation matter? An improved setup in the Mass aVe mediA studio is discussed by host Rob Impact, providing the benefits of a tech concept previously only considered for professional working environments. Also, we mention the work of a linguist who is providing educational content regarding many American & British language concepts that are largely ignored, or not even thought of. His body of work is well-researched and supported, and we'll guide you to who this resource is & how you can enjoy his wisdom. Finally, the "trial run" of a new meal plan will be starting soon by host Rob Impact. What caused the decision to start, as well as the timing of this decision & intent of this experiment is discussed. Please subscribe, leave a review, and here's to a great week for us all!

With the constant use of social media, we discuss the overabundance of pictures and posts related to such noteworthy events, and how the experience is semi-devalued with redundant visual contributions. In addition, host Rob Impact details his recent flu vaccination and how, if not interfering with personal beliefs, it can prove to be extremely helpful, as given from the viewpoint of having had the flu with, and without the related vaccine. Colder weather has been steadily approaching, which means a seasonal set of traditions and habits typically come with such a changeover. From food & warm coverings to abbreviated motivation, we chat about some of the comforting, and not-so-beneficial cold weather habits we exhibit. Monday Sep 30, 2024
Monday Sep 30, 2024
From food to home goods to sneakers, so many products are being touted as "limited time" offerings. Is this a good thing which can drive an increase in foot traffic, or a bad thing which can cause difficulty in establishing brand loyalty? We'll discuss the pros & cons of this current marketing tactic.
Also, there's an overabundance of people creating social media pages for the purpose of "reporting" news and information on a variety of specialized topics, to the point that the redundancy of these informational pages is overwhelming. How do you decide what source is legitimate, and what source is another carbon copy of those already in existence? We'll also provide valuable education through "Lessons from the Urban Dictionary", and host Rob Impact is here to offer some new "Ridiculous Life Advice". Please leave a rating, subscribe, and enjoy the week ahead!

You Know What You Should Do?!
Monday Sep 23, 2024
Monday Sep 23, 2024
For one reason or another, we've all heard it. It's the phrase that we weren't seeking, but received at a place or time when it wasn't welcomed: "YOU KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD DO?!" Though life advice should be a welcoming premise, this poorly-worded question highlights the importance of when and how we should talk to others when useful advice is available. We'll discuss how it's potentially perceived, and how we can avoid using this question when offering useful advice. Also, another Prime Day is upon us in the forthcoming weeks. Are these the buying events we so typically believe are helpful to our wallet, or are the savings not a PRIME example of a true value? We'll bring some "Positive Vibes" along with "Ridiculous Life Advice", and hope that you leave a review, spread the love, and subscribe. Here's to a great week ahead!

Purging Stuff / Mentors are Missing
Monday Sep 16, 2024
Monday Sep 16, 2024
Many of us enjoy our "things", from insignificant toys to collection-worthy pieces. Is the entirety of what we have absolutely needed? Rob Impact discusses his recent purging of items, what brought the initiative about, and how beneficial the result of discarding useless items yields greater appreciation for your kept items. In addition, our society has devolved into people taking the majority of life lessons from technological and disposable means, while the concept of our mentors and life teachers passing on their experiences and advice has greatly decreased. Discussed is the importance of serving as a mentor, as well as the need for everyone (regardless of age) to continue to be taught & nurtured, allowing the cycle of real-world experiences and advice to be passed on. Finally, we'll serve up a new "Flavor to Savor" and drop some transportable "Ridiculous Life Advice". Leave a review, spread the love, and here's to a good week ahead with great vibes!
